Derecognise all CPS courses including DCH, DGO and DPB says National Medical Commission (NMC)

In a sudden move the national medical commission vide its letter dated 13/04/2023 have directed Under Secretary Ministry of Health & Family Welfare that recognition of 3 Diploma courses run by CPS ie DCH, DGO and DPB for which equivalence has been given vide MoHFW vide 30.04.2021 should be withdrawn from next academic year.
It also clarified that National Medical Commission does not agree for providing equivalence to courses of 466 students recognized by the MoHFW vide letter dated 18.1.0.2022.
That means 466 candidates whose CPS diploma were recognized because they took admission to CPS courses between 17-10-2017 and 12-02-2018 will no longer remain recognized and hence they won’t be able to appear for secondary DNB.
